Luz-Saint-Sauveur
At the crossroads of the great Pyrenean sites, on the heights of Luz Saint-Sauveur, the valley's thermal spa was made fashionable by Empress Eugénie in the 19th century. Listed as a historical monument, the thermal baths of "la station aux dames" were completely renovated in 1995 and now have a fitness area.

Bagnères-de-Bigorre
Situated at an altitude of 550 metres, at the foot of the Pic du Midi and the Aspin and Tourmalet passes, Bagnères-de-Bigorre is the leading thermal spa in the Hautes-Pyrénées, with 40 listed springs. The Grands Thermes de Bagnères welcome more than 8000 curists each year.

Capvern-les-Bains
30 km from Tarbes, Capvern-les-Bains is a small spa town of 1054 inhabitants in the heart of the Pyrenean Piedmont, nestled in a green valley at an altitude of 475 m. Known since Roman times, its waters are recommended for the treatment of kidney stones (drinking cure or diuresis cure).

Barèges
In a setting of mountains and lakes, in the heart of the Batsus Valley, Barèges is the highest thermal spa in France. Renowned since the 1860s, the Thermes de Barèges are located along the banks of the Gave du Bastan, at the foot of the Tourmalet pass and the Pic du Midi de Bigorre.

Argelès-Gazost
Situated between Lourdes and the Cirque de Gavarnie, perched on a balcony at an altitude of 460 metres, the thermal spa of Argelès-Gazost is fed by the great spring of Gazost, called Hount Pudio. Its sodium chloro-sulphur waters have been recognised for their therapeutic virtues since 1885.

Cauterets
"A Caoutares tout que garech" (In Cauterets everything heals) is the motto of this great Pyrenean spa and health resort. Naturally warm and sulphurous, the thermal water of Cauterets is recognised for its healing virtues and its immunostimulant action.

Saint-Lary Soulan
In the heart of the Aure valley, just a few steps from the village, the Saint-Lary thermal baths attract many people who come to relax in harmony with the surrounding nature. The resort benefits from a hot spring of chloride and sodium water, rich in sulphuric and sulphated silica.

Loudenvielle
Nestled in the Louron Valley, on the edge of the magnificent lake, the small Pyrenean village of Loudenvielle is home to the first thermo-ludic centre in the Hautes-Pyrénées. Inaugurated in 2000, Balnéa uses naturally warm water (between 30 and 33 degrees) thanks to two boreholes above the Saoussas baths, at a depth of 170 and 600 metres.

Beaucens
Another bubble of relaxation in the Hautes-Pyrénées, the small spa town of Beaucens-les-Bains located a few kilometres from Lourdes and Argelès-Gazost. The mineral water of the resort comes from two griffons, "Motteville" and "la Fenètre" located between the Gave de Pau and the Hautacam massif. The current thermal baths, built in 1914, receive nearly 500 curists per year.
